The Candomblé Terreiros are places of community worship mostly found in the urban and peri urban areas of Salvador, Bahia. Practitioners of  Candomblé use the Terreiros to connect with their ancestral spirits (Orishas) and engage in religious ceremonies, including offerings, prayers, oracles, and initiations. These rituals provide spiritual guidance, healing, and a sense of community support. The Terreiros are invaluable for their communities, for they both serve their spiritual needs and contribute to their cultural, social, and economic well-being, playing a vital role in preserving, celebrating and promoting Afro-Brazilian heritage and cultural identity.
