Walking through the Victorian Gothic and Art Deco Ensemble in Mumbai, I’ve often wondered how these magnificent structures can withstand the test of time - both historically and environmentally. The climate crisis is an urgent challenge, and I believe preservation must go hand in hand with sustainability. Preserving Legacies offers a deeply meaningful opportunity for our site, as it not only strengthens my research on land politics and environmental justice but also contributes to a broader conversation on inclusive and sustainable urban futures.
